Do you remember that quote? In January of 2011 we ran a very popular healthcare marketing article titled “Leveraging Google Health for Medical Marketing” and how a new product called Google Health was changing how online users found answers to some very pertinent healthcare questions. While Google Health hasn’t exactly lasted as Google expected, healthcare on Google has exploded over the past year-and-a-half since we published that healthcare marketing article.

Is Facebook Turning Into Pinterest?

Since the dawn of Facebook, photos have been the most commonly used form of status update. From crazy college party photos to family photos and vacation photos, sharing photos on Facebook has always been somewhat of a staple of not only Facebook marketing, but personal Facebook use. In 2012, 250 million photos are uploaded per day on Facebook. Perhaps that’s why Pinterest has become so popular, and why Facebook is starting to look more and more like this photo-sharing giant.

Facebook Integration Just got a Boost

In terms of branding and marketing, going social can be a scary proposition for many companies. Going social means opening yourself up to criticism, possibly some bad reviews, and the completely unpredictable. However, going social can also mean reaching a greater audience, increasing your brand equity, and always being a part of the trending scene.
